Rond Point Bastos

Another Wednesday Outing!! This time, we went to a roundabout that is just down the hill of death from our house. Or, as Devin so eloquently put it: "The local traffic circle".

(modern art, perhaps? 'This means something!')

(Someone was drying their clothes on the big yellow metal thing...SO Cameroon...)

I'm so sad that I never thought of going here before! I've driven around this thing almost daily for almost two years and seriously never really took much notice of it (except for the occasional wedding that goes on there)! It's a beautiful spot! Lots of grass, flowers, benches...

Perfect for picnics,

Running, playing... And some sidewalk chalk!

Andrew made some friends, too... There were some kids selling peanuts and other random food. Andrew went right up to the kid with the peanuts on his head and proceeded to beg! Ha!

Aren't they cute kids!?!?

Who would've thought that a fun outing would be sitting in a circular glorified median--playing tag with your kids in the middle of the road? Huh. J'aime Cameroon! :)
